SCENES FROM THE STUDIO

Ally Rowell lives and rents an art studio in Georgetown, MA.  She creates impactful, enjoyable designs with an ever-contrasting acrylic pallet. Making use of both department store and high-end materials, her paintings radiate with joy and amusement. From mod floral blobs, to clean, textile-esque patterns, her style is recognizable and direct.

In recent months, in addition to painting, her focus has shifted to constructing “scenes” and more immersive experiences to showcase her work. These pop-up mini art shows include household materials repurposed to conjure up a fun atmosphere for the viewer.
